How We Price Our Work & Capacity

We believe transparency is part of ethical practice.

This page exists so you understand how we price our work, what that supports, and whether this feels aligned before we speak.

Our Retainer Range

Our work typically begins at

USD 1,500 / MONTH

Most engagements fall between USD 1,500 and USD 2,100 per month, depending on the scope, systems involved, and level of support required.

We price our work as a retainer because what we do is relational, ongoing, and context-based. It is not project work that can be completed in isolation.

Why We Have a Minimum

We intentionally limit the number of practices we support at any given time.

We work with up to five practices so we can remain closely involved, responsive, and accountable. This includes regular meetings, shared decision-making, and hands-on work across communication, systems, and visibility.

A monthly minimum allows us to:

Dedicate sufficient time and care to each practice

Stay present and responsive rather than stretched thin

Compensate our team fairly and sustainably

Avoid diluting our work to take on more clients

Practice the kind of care-centred work we advocate for

Ethical, high-quality work requires capacity.
Pricing is part of how we protect that capacity.

If Your Needs Are
Below the Minimum

If, after speaking with you, we believe the work you need does not meet our minimum, we will be honest and not proceed.

We would rather say no than take on work that does not allow us to show up fully.

In some cases, exceptions are possible. If we feel deeply aligned with your practice, we may offer a lower introductory rate for the first four months, with a clear plan to adjust pricing once value and fit are established.

We ask that this transparency be met with respect. Our pricing exists to sustain our team and the quality of our work.

Why We Work in Four-Month Cycles

We typically begin with a four-month engagement.
This is intentional.

The first months are often spent:

03
clarifying priorities
and constraints

02
aligning systems
and language

01
understanding your context and capacity

While you may see early improvements, meaningful and sustainable impact usually takes
four to five months to become visible.

We do not promise instant results. We promise thoughtful, grounded work that has time to take root.

At the end of the initial period, we reassess together. If the work no longer feels aligned, we part respectfully.

04
building trust
and rhythm

Our Commitment
to Honest Fit

We do not underprice our work to secure contracts.

We believe that charging too little often leads to diluted attention, rushed decisions, and compromised care. That is not how we want to work, and it is not how we believe care-centred partnerships should begin.

We trust the value of our work, and we trust potential partners to decide whether this feels right for them.

A Note on
Sustainability

This work supports our livelihoods and our ability to continue doing it well.

Sustainability is not separate from ethics. It is part of it.

Pricing that honours time, labour, and care allows us to remain present, thoughtful, and accountable to the clinics we support.

Next Steps

If this approach feels aligned, we’re happy to talk.
If it doesn’t, we respect that too.
